It’s the beginning of a new year and this warm tumeric drink is worth another posting. #goodrecipe .
This recipe is for Tumeric Tea aka Golden Milk, aka anti-inflammatory drink. I now believe it’s my life mission to fight my immune system since the prednisone, hives debacle of 2 weeks ago. Yup, it’s back and worse than before.
People that have never had chronic skin conditions might not understand how debilitating it can be. But, we can enlist armies of warriors. Warriors are all around us; in the spice cabinet, pantry, essential oils, and the internet 😚
1 cup almond milk, or non dairy
Local area honey (to taste )
A couple dashes of black pepper
1/2 teaspoon tumeric paste or fresh ground
1/2 inch ground ginger root
Couple sprinkles of cinnamon (or 1 drop Young Living cinnamon essential oil)
Gently heat-mine is in a pot on #2 level of an electric stove. Stir to mix. Try not to boil, we want to keep all the good nutrients and vitamins in there!
P. S.- Natural ingrediets or organic are best. But, this is what I had in the pantry and that’s o.k. too.
